Who We Are
Ties of Love was created after Krista, ( a cancer survivor at the time, and is now living with metastatic breast cancer also known as stage IV breast cancer) saw her friend enduring chemotherapy during the cold months. She remembered her own cancer journey, and feeling of being cold all the time regardless of the temperature inside or out. She felt inspired to not only help her friend feel warmer, but to feel comforted and cared for by others.
Our Mission
At Ties of Love our mission is to donate handmade no-sew fleece blankets that will help provide warmth & comfort both physically and emotionally to cancer patients in local communities.
What We Do
We collect and lovingly make new no-sew fleece blankets and gift them to adults and children who are going through cancer treatments and or living with cancer.
Our second blanket delivered February 21,2014
February 8th, 2015 we held our very first Blanket Making Circle at the Uxbridge Public Library. Here community members young and old gathered together to helpe create 32 blankets pictured here in these bags. The turn out was amazing and were hoping to be able to do this again come the fall of 2015!

These amazing kids took it upon themselves to make theses blankets and presented them to me at my birthday party July 2014, as gifts to Ties of Love !
